Athennian has multiple user roles and in this article we will go over the Read-Only User role, how to invite them to your team and what they can see and do throughout Athennian.
If you want to invite a Read-Only User to your Athennian Team you can complete this from the Athennian Dashboard by using the Invite button located in the top right-hand corner.
For further details on how to manage the Users on a team, visit our Add or Remove Users to a Team help article.
As a Read-Only User you are able to navigate and access the Dashboard, Tasks, Entities, People and Reports along the left-hand side. Below are a few screenshots showing these sections of Athennian.
The Dashboard is the first page you are presented with when you sign in and allows the user to view any last entities they've last opened along with a link to our Help Center.
Tasks is a location where you can view all of the different tasks across the database, the status, and filter by Task Type or the assigned User.
Entities is where you have the ability to search and view all of the entities in the database. For best practices, see our Help Article.
The People section allows you to search and browse all of individuals that are in your Athennian database.
After you have found and selected an entity in the Entities tab, you will be presented with a high level overview of the entity selected. From this location you are able to prepare an Entity Profile Summary or Corporate Summary by selecting the Generate Summary button.
Principals allows you to view the Directors, Officers, Managers, Controllers and their Statuses (Confirmed, Incoming, Outgoing and Inactive). The Principals Register button will allow you to prepare Registers based on the principals in this entity.
In Transactions you will be able to view all of the transactions on a per share class basis as well as prepare Registers/Ledgers for Current Share Classes, All Share Classes or Select Shareholders. To navigate between these share classes, simply click the dropdown bar located in the top left-hand corner.
All documents (Summaries, Registers and Ledgers) that a Read-Only User prepares in an entity will be stored in the Documents section of Athennian.
The below video will provide an overview of the features included in the Virtual Minute Book.
Org Charts use the data in your Athennian database to build a top-down organizational chart that is exportable as an .svg file. This can be opened in Visio or any other drawing platform that supports .svg files if you're wanting to make any edits such as adding a title or changing its colours.
As mentioned above, People Records in Athennian are stored under the People tab. After you have selected a person you will be able to view basic contact information.
As you move down the left-hand side, the Addresses tab will display all of the addresses that are associated with this person.
Lastly, the Interests tab allows you to see what entities the person is associated with as a Director, Officer, Manager, Controller, Shareholder, or Option/Warrant holder.
