Automate your entity maintenance and never miss a filing deadline by utilizing the compliance task shortcut directly within the entity profile.

Overview

The Annual Compliance Task shortcut in the Compliance section enables quick generation of compliance workflows based on key entity dates. This feature streamlines the tracking of recurring legal obligations, ensuring all filings remain up to date.

Set Up Compliance Dates

Before generating a task, the relevant operational and fiscal dates must be established within the entity's records.

  1. Navigate to the Entities module and select the specific entity profile

  2. Navigate to the General > Compliance tab on the left-hand menu

  3. Locate the Dates section on the right-hand side of the screen

  4. Populate the applicable date fields:

    • Incorporation Date

    • Fiscal Year End

    • Floating Fiscal Year End

    • Frequency (select Annually, Biennially, Every 5 years, or Quarterly)

    • Tax Year

    • Home Report Bring Forward


Generate the Compliance Task

Once the dates are finalized, the automated task workflow can be initiated.

  1. Click Create Compliance Task located directly below the bring forward fields

  2. A green banner will appear stating "Annual compliance task created Due date: YYYY-MM-DD"

  3. Navigate to the Tasks section to view and complete the newly generated Annual Compliance Task workflow
