Types of User Roles

In Athennian there are four different types of user roles:

  • Administrator

  • User

  • Read-Only

  • Summary-Only

In this article we will go over the rights and restrictions attached to the User role in Athennian.

 

General Overview of the User

The User role has full access to manipulating the data in the database subject only to the following limitations:

  • the User cannot delete entities

  • the User cannot invite other users to the team

Accessible Tabs of the Database

  • Dashboard

  • Tasks

  • Entities

  • People

  • Reports

About the Tabs in Athennian

  1. Dashboard: overview of recent entities, recent documents, upcoming/overdue tasks, link to the Help Center and the Feedback Center, and user invites;

  2. Tasks: Overdue, New, Pending Completed and Archived tasks;

  3. Entities: full list of entities in the database;

  4. People: full list of people in the database;

  5. Reports: Reporting tool and Custom Reporting tool.

Inviting Users to the Database

To invite a user to access your database as a User, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to the Dashboard;

  2. Click on + Invite;

  3. Type in the First Name, Last Name and Email of the person you would like to invite to the team;

  4. Select the User user access by checking off the corresponding box;

  5. Select Invite.

Note: only Administrators can invite Users to the database.

 

Restricted Teams Permissions
