Use tasks to generate all organizational documents!

Athennian allows you to generate any kind of organizational document required for an entity including bylaws, organizational resolutions or consents, share subscription documents, and related share certificates and ledgers. To learn how to generate organizational documents, follow these simple steps:

  1. After an entity is formed and all information necessary for organizing the entity is recorded in the database, navigate to the Tasks section of that entity

  2. Click + New to create a new task

1. Details tab

  • In the Memo description, title the task
  • In the task Type field, select Organizational from the dropdown list - note: if you are not already in an entity profile, you will be required to select an entity profile
  • Set a Due Date (mandatory), select the Assignee, set a Priority and add any Details or Tags if applicable

2. Organizational tab

  •  Click + Incorporator and select the mandatory incorporator for the entity
  • Add the Share Activity and Principal Activity you would like to appear in the organizational documents, meaning any transactions, certificates, directors, officers, or managers' information
  • Select the mandatory Effective Date*
  • Click Create to save the task

3. Supporting Documents tab

  • Select + Supporting Documents
  • Check off the templates you would like to use to generate your supporting documents for the revival, and then click Add
  • Click Generate documents. A blue notification will appear indicating that the documents are being generated and you'll be notified when completed
  • Once the documents are generated, a green notification will appear indicating they're successfully generated. You can navigate to the next tab to view the generated documents

4. Generated Documents tab

  • Click on the generated documents to review them
  • Select Download as Zip if you wish to download them to your desktop
  • Select Send to Docusign if you wish to send them for e-signature 

Complete the Task

  • Once the documents are completed, click the task's status in the top right corner and select Completed from the dropdown list. You will be prompted to confirm.
  • By making this selection, a prompt will appear to check off the options that apply:
    • Selected Transactions
      • Select pending transactions to confirmed
      • Update transaction date
    • Selected Certificates
      • Select pending certificates to issued
      • Update issuance date
    • Selected Principals (if applicable, this will display the Outgoing and Incoming Principals added in the Organizational tab)
  • Once the selections have been made, simply click Confirm in the bottom right-hand corner of the window. The Task will be marked as Completed and a blue notification will appear confirming the updates made
  • Finally, Save your changes and Close the task
