Athennian can integrate with DocuSign to send documents directly from an Entity record to Docusign.  Once complete, a copy of the signed document will also be added to the Entity record in Athennian.

  1. Navigate to the Entity and select the Documents tab to view all documents that have been generated for this Entity
  2. Check the box on the left-hand side of the document(s) to be sent out for signature(s)
Note: it is possible to select only one document or multiple documents.
  3. Click Selected at the top of the screen and select the Sign with DocuSign option

  4. This will open a new tab showing the DocuSign login, or if already logged into DocuSign, the DocuSign workflow will begin
  5. Use the regular process to add required information such as Signature Blocks, Initials, or Dates
  6. Once the document(s) have been sent in Docusign, the Status of the documents in Athennian will also appear as Sent
  7. When the documents have been signed, a pop-up notification in the bottom left-hand side of Athennian will appear and the Status of the Document will show Completed
  8. Additionally, the Bell icon in the top right-hand corner will store an additional notification with more details on the documents that have been returned from DocuSignmceclip2.pngNote: Athennian intentionally saves a copy of the document before it was signed for record purposes. These are visible once the documents have been fully executed.

All documents that are signed via DocuSign are recognizable PDFs, which means once they are moved into the Virtual Minute Book, users can search through the documents.

Below is a quick video showing how the DocuSign Integration worked in 2020.  Pleaes note that this video will not include any updates that Docusign may have recently implemented.
