Learn how to upload documents to a virtual minute book!
Virtual minute books are becoming essential as the legal community embraces technology and the need to access corporate records from any location. The ability to create virtual minute books is done easily within the Athennian database. Once all of the headers in the virtual minute book are created, learn how to upload documents to the virtual minute book by following these simple steps:
Moving Documents from the Documents section to the Virtual Minute Book

From the Documents tab of the desired entity, ensure that the documents being moved to the virtual minute book are in either PDF or Word format - if the documents need to be converted to PDF, simply check off the documents, select # Selected at the top of the list of documents and then select Convert to PDF;

Check off the documents, and then select # Selected at the top of the list of documents.
Note: multiple documents can be moved at one time, however, they can only be moved to one header at a time. -
Select Move from the dropdown list;

In the new window that pops up, select Minute Book;

In the Minute Book tab, select the folder where the documents are to be moved to and then select Move here;

Enter the Effective Date, and then select Confirm;

Once the documents have been moved to the virtual minute book, there is the option to rename them, move them from header to header, and modify effective dates and descriptions.
Uploading Documents from a Computer

From the Virtual Minute Book tab, select Action and then select Upload File - Note: Word or PDF documents to the virtual minute book can only be uploaded;

In the new window that opens up, enter the Effective Date, and then select Choose local files - Note: a maximum of 20 documents at a time can only be uploaded.

There is the option to also drag and drop them from a folder on the computer into the database;

Once the documents have been selected, select Submit;

Once the documents have been moved to the virtual minute book, there is the option to rename them, move them from header to header, and modify effective dates and descriptions.
Please note that documents deleted from the Virtual Minute Book cannot be retrieved. Please take extra caution when doing so.
