Tailor your Athennian environment to match specific business processes by hiding folders, pages, sections, or specific dropdown options globally.
Overview
Configurability allows Administrators to streamline the interface by hiding unnecessary Folders, Pages, Sections, Fields, and specific Dropdown Options within Entities and People records. This is a global, blanket application setting designed to reduce clutter and help teams focus only on the critical data required for their specific workflows. Hiding information does not delete it from the system; it simply removes it from the default user view.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can access and change Display Settings?
Only Administrators can access and modify these settings. Standard users or read-only users do not have access to alter the global display.
Does hiding a field or dropdown option delete the underlying data?
No. Hiding a Field, Section, or Dropdown Option simply tailors the view to hide it from the interface. It does not delete any existing information from the database. All data remains stored in the database and is still accessible via Reports, Document Templates (DXT), and Athennian AI.
Can these settings be applied to a specific Entity Type or Jurisdiction?
No. In this version of Configurability, display changes act as a blanket application. When a field is hidden, it is removed from every single Entity or Person record across the entire platform.
Can I rename standard system fields like "Entity Status"?
No. System fields are referenced by the API, Search Bar, and Athennian AI. To use a different label, create a Custom Field and hide the standard system field.
Can I hide specific rows in a table view (e.g., specific Principals)?
No. Configurability applies to Pages with Sections (cards). Table-based pages cannot have individual rows or columns hidden to ensure the accuracy and integrity of legal data.
Is this change specific to certain Jurisdictions or Entity Types?
No. In this version of Configurability, changes are applied Globally across the entire Athennian environment regardless of the Entity Type or Jurisdiction.
