Enhance team alignment and streamline onboarding by customizing the Dashboard Banner to share important internal updates and resources.
Overview
The Dashboard Banner allows administrators to pin customizable announcements, resources, workflows, and external links directly to the top of the Athennian Dashboard. Surfacing critical information directly inside Athennian improves change management, process adoption, and reduces reliance on scattered communications across departments.
Availability: Customers on the Enterprise plan.
Note: Dashboard settings are accessible only to Administrators.
Access Dashboard Banner Settings
Click the Profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen, then select Settings
Under the Account menu, select Preferences
Scroll to the Dashboard Banner at the bottom of the page
Configure the Dashboard Banner
Enter a Title to display the main announcement, such as "Team Knowledge Hub"
Input a Description to provide additional context
Paste the URL into the Hyperlink field to redirect to an external page, such as a Google Document or company project board
Enter the Hyperlink text to name the clickable link
Enter a hex code to adjust the Banner colour
Review the Preview
Toggle the Turn on dashboard banner switch to On
Once the banner is enabled, it is pinned on all users' Dashboards.
To disable the banner, simply toggle the Turn on dashboard banner off.
