Overview: Athennian has launched a powerful new feature that allows users to customize the entity list overview, providing flexibility and efficiency in managing data specific to workflows and user roles. This article serves as a comprehensive guide on how to effectively utilize Entity List Column Customization within the platform.

How to Use Entity List Column Customization:

 

Step 1: Locating the Edit Columns Button:

Upon signing in to Athennian, navigate to the Entities section and click on the Entities button.Users will notice a new "Edit Columns" button within the entity list interface.

Step 2: Customizing Displayed Columns:

Click on the "Edit Columns" button to open the Edit View modal.

Here, users can select or deselect various fields available in the Overview section to customize the entity list columns.

Review the list of fields and choose the ones most relevant to your workflow and role requirements.

Step 3: Rearranging Columns:

In addition to adding or removing columns, users can rearrange their order to better suit their preferences.

Utilize the drag-and-drop functionality to rearrange columns as desired, similar to the functionality available in Custom Reports.

 

Step 4: Resetting Columns:

If needed, users can reset the columns to their original setup by clicking the "Reset Columns" button.

This action will revert the column configuration to the default settings.

 

Step 5: Applying Changes:

Once satisfied with the customization, click on the "Apply Changes" button to implement the adjustments.

Allow the system a moment to process the modifications.

 

Note: User-Level Customization:

It's important to note that column customization settings apply at the user level.

Users can tailor their entity list columns based on their specific roles and preferences, providing a personalized experience upon each login.

 

Example Scenario:

Suppose a user primarily deals with entity registrations and compliance. They may choose to customize their entity list columns to display essential information such as Client Number, Home Jurisdiction, Registration Date, Type, and GIIN Number while excluding less relevant details like Entity Formation Date and Entity Minute Book.
