There are generally 2 parts to managing your workflow:

Prerequisites

  • Athennian Account admin access

Steps

#1 Access

As shown in the demo above, creating and managing profiles, access groups, and API Keys is simple. However, there are some things to worth emphasizing below:

  • Only Athennian admins can create keys, etc (including Office-Admins).
    • Office-Admin can do everything except most Access Groups privileges which have not been assigned to them by the full Administrators. For example, even though they can try to revoke all Access Groups from all Keys, they are only able to do this for groups assigned to them.
  • Perhaps the best option (for security and self-service), is if each FileForms admin accesses their own keys / access so that the credentials can be stored and transferred in fewer places, etc.
  • Alternatively, you might want to create, provide, and otherwise manage keys for your FileForms admin(s).
  • Please also note that after an API Key is created, it can only be viewed once, and will likely need to be stored outside Athennian for reuse, or replaced with new keys.
    • Be careful how you store and share keys as they are essentially passwords.

  • Customers can create multiple FileForms accounts if desired.
    • However, if they would like there to be any kind of link (such as shared API Key(s), companies/data, etc), please contact your Athennian representative and/or Support so that we can better understand your requirements, etc.

#3 Archive

As shown in the demo above, once you file each entity, a confirmation transcript will be saved in that entity minute book. Done! ✅

The Submitter in that transcript will be the specific FileForms customer account which submitted the filing to FinCEN.

FAQ

  • How do I limit which people affiliations are imported for each company?
    • 1) Your Athennian admin can remove those profiles (especially if there are only a few),
      • 2) When sharing, you add those affiliations one by one manually (especially if there are only a few),
    • 3) Or, you can mark those affiliations as a status other than Confirmed.
