Getting Started with Electronic Filings ("EFile")

This article will cover all the basic information required to get started with electronic filings in Athennian. To start you will need to contact your Customer Success Manager at Athennian to enable EFile if you currently not using this feature. 


Jurisdictions, Filings, and Hours of Operation

British Columbia

At this time all filings in British Columbia are supported only for the entity types: Company and Unlimited Liability Company (ULC)

Hours of Operation:

Monday to Saturday: 6:00am to 10:00pm Pacific Time
Sunday: 1:00pm to 10:00pm Pacific Time


At this time all filings in Ontario are supported only for the entity type: Corporation

Hours of Operation:

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!


Profile Settings

Prior to completing any filings, you will need to ensure your Athennian Profile settings are up to date with your current business Address and communication information (email and phone number)

You can access your profile information by selecting your profile icon in the top right-hand corner while in Athennian. From here select Settings from the drop-down list. Once in settings, you will see in all the fields to update. If you make any changes ensure to select Save Changes prior to leaving this page. 


Invoicing and Transaction Details

All invoices for EFile transactions will be set on a monthly basis from the Athennian Finance team. At any point users with Administrator permissions can access a detailed breakdown of the costs associated with each EFile transaction completed in Athennian. To download this report you can navigate to Profile > Settings > Account > EFile Orders.
