We’re excited to share the latest updates to the Athennian platform, designed to enhance your workflows and streamline your experience. Here’s what's new:

Tasks: Custom Task Statuses

Athennian now allows teams to create and manage Custom Task Statuses that reflect how work actually moves through your organization. Admins can define status names, assign colors and reorder them to match internal workflows across entities and the Tasks page.

With clearer status signals such as “Blocked,” “In Review,” or “With Finance,” teams gain faster visibility into progress, ownership and bottlenecks, making task management more intuitive and actionable.

Availability: Customers on the Professional and Enterprise plans*.

Release Schedule: *If you are a Professional or Enterprise customer and don't see this feature in your environment yet, it will be available soon. Please contact your CSM if you have any questions.

Learn more about it here.

Tasks: New Task Status Filter (Replace Cards)

We’re updating the Tasks list page, replacing the color cards with a Status filter dropdown, improving consistency across the platform.

Availability: All customers.

Structure Charts: Individual vs Team Views

In November, we introduced Saved Structure Chart Views that preserve filters, legends, hidden nodes and layouts so you can return to the same view anytime without reconfiguration. Now, you can also choose to share those saved views with your team.

Set chart views to be private or visible to anyone with access to the main profile. This makes it easier for teams to align on consistent chart views for reviews, diligence and reporting while keeping saved views organized and relevant.

Availability: Customers on the Enterprise plan*.

Securities: Exchange Shares to Multiple Classes

You can now exchange shares from one source class into multiple target classes in a single step. This removes the one-to-one limitation and better reflects how many Rollover and Section 86 exchange transactions actually work.

Availability: All customers.

Global Audit Trail: Additional Fields in "Type" filter

We have added two new options—New Entity Record and Entity Type—to the Global Audit Trail “Type” filter. These options allow users to isolate entity creation events and entity type changes without unrelated activity noise.

Availability: Customers on the Enterprise plan.

Custom Roles: Control Access to Action Buttons

We are introducing configurable controls in Custom Roles to hide or show key UI buttons across the Entities page and Entity Overview. Admins can manage visibility of the Edit Columns, Generate Summary, and Edit Display buttons per role, establishing more control.

Availability: Customers on the Enterprise plan.
