Enhance task management and streamline daily workflows by exploring the updated Tasks experience.

Overview

Tasks now operate in a redesigned workspace with dedicated page views, saved filters and cleaner navigation across table and calendar views. Teams can manage tasks, filings and supporting documents in a more connected workflow, making high-volume governance work easier to track and complete.

Key enhancements include:

  • Task filters now align with the rest of the Athennian platform for a more consistent experience

  • Tasks now open as dedicated pages instead of pop-out modals, making it easier to navigate and manage complex task details

  • Improved table layouts make better use of screen space for cleaner visibility across task lists and deadlines

Access the Global Task List

The global task list serves as the default timetable view, offering improved visibility of all tasks across entities. Key updates include a bolder icon for overdue tasks and immediate access to tags.

  • Navigate to the global Tasks section in the left-hand menu

  • View the default table layout displaying Status, Name, Task Type, connected Entity, Priority, Created Date and Due Date (flagged with a danger icon when Overdue)

  • Toggle between the Table view and Calendar view using the icons at the top right to manage deadlines

  • Click the icons on the right side of each task to Complete, Archive or Delete the task


Filter and Save Custom Task Views

The filtering experience features a cleaner look, eliminating cluttered buttons at the top of the screen in favor of customizable saved views.

  1. Click the Filter dropdown at the top right of the Tasks table to sort by Status, Due Date, Type, Assignee, Issuer and Group

  2. Click Apply to view the tasks per the set filters

  3. Click + Save filter to enter a title for the custom view to save the specific filter criteria

  4. Click Save to confirm

  5. Access saved filters from the dropdown to quickly surface relevant items in the future

  6. Select the option to Clear or Delete filters from the dropdown as needed


Manage Custom Task Statuses

Administrators possess the ability to manage and customize all task statuses directly from the global view.

  1. Click Task settings in the top right corner of the Tasks page

  2. Select the option to Manage task statuses from the dropdown menu

  3. Add new custom statuses and assign specific colors for easy visual identification

  4. Delete outdated statuses to automatically remove them from filter options in both calendar and table views


Navigate the Full-Page Task View

Tasks now open in a broad page view instead of a small pop-up modal, providing ample space to add necessary details, documentation, and history.

  1. Select a task to open the full page view within an Entity

  2. Update the Status, Priority, Issuer, and default Assignee using the designated dropdowns

  3. Enter necessary information into the details box, utilizing the expanded 1,000-character limit

  4. Drag the corner of the text boxes to expand the view for lengthy notes

  5. Enter Tags and press the enter key to apply them

  6. Add Checklist items and mark them as complete as work progresses

  7. Input applicable dates into the Effective, Resolution, and Reference fields based on the task type

  8. Click Save to confirm updates


Generate and Manage Task Documents

The updated interface streamlines the process of adding templates and generating documents directly within the task view.

  1. Locate the Templates section within the task page

  2. Select the desired document templates from the dropdown menu to add them to the task

  3. Click Generate to create the documents and view the last modified date

  4. Access the newly created files in the Generated Documents view or the main Documents section

  5. Click Send To to route documents for electronic signature

  6. Apply access restrictions directly at the task level to limit visibility to specific access groups

  7. Click Download to export documents as standard files or zip folders

  8. Click Upload to add additional external files directly from a local device and click Save


Execute Jurisdiction-Specific Tasks

The user interface dynamically changes based on the specific task type, entity type, and formation jurisdiction, revealing relevant fields and filing options.

  1. Create a new task within an Entity

  2. Set the Task Type to a specific action like Formation

  3. Fill out the dynamically updated fields required for the specific entity type and jurisdiction

  4. Review any pop-up error messages indicating missing mandatory fields

  5. Add missing details such as required incorporator information

  6. Click the final task filing button to submit directly to connected registries

  7. Click Save to confirm
