We’re excited to share the latest updates to the Athennian platform, designed to enhance your workflows and streamline your experience. Here’s what's new:
What’s New
Updated AI Dashboard
We’ve refreshed the Athennian AI dashboard with a modern, intuitive interface. You can now access your available skills, Athennian Intelligence tools, and supporting resources with greater ease and clarity.
Availability: All customers with Athennian AI.
Entity Overview: All Principal Roles Supported on the Edit Display
We’ve expanded the "Edit Display" functionality on the Entity Overview page to support all principal role types—not just directors, officers, and signatories. You can now customize your overview to surface the specific principal appointments that matter most to your organization's workflow. Athennian continues to automatically enforce entity-type specific role logic, ensuring your governance data remains accurate and relevant while giving you a tailored view of your entity records.
Availability: Customers on the Professional and Enterprise plans.

Entity Overview: Custom Entity Status Visibility
We’ve enhanced the Entity Overview page to provide greater visibility for any custom entity statuses. Previously, customized statuses (tracked under “Custom Entity Status”) were surfaced with a generic “Custom” label. Now, when you select a specific custom entity status (such as “In Liquidation”), the system will display the exact name of that status directly on the Entity Overview page.
Availability: All customers.
API Enhancements
We’ve expanded our API capabilities to support greater integration flexibility:
- Custom Entity Status: You can now update custom entity statuses via the API.
- Registrations: Registrations can now be created with optional regions, allowing for more precise data synchronization with your external systems.
Availability: Customers with the API All-Access add-on.
Document Automation Enhancements
Standard Summary Templates Now Display Equity Interests Held
We’ve updated our standard Corporate Summary and Entity Summary templates to include a new Equity Interests Held table. It shows the entities in which the subject entity holds shares or units — entity name, address, number of shares/units, and class name — sourced from Relationships > Associations. Your generated summaries now capture the entity's outward holdings at a glance.
For Custom Templates (Optional): If your team manages custom templates and wants to surface this information, check our standard template library to reference the updated code syntax for the new Equity Interests Held table.
Availability: Customers on the Professional and Enterprise plans.
What’s Fixed
Dissolve Task Workflow
The Principal status will now automatically update to “Inactive” upon the successful completion of a Dissolve task, ensuring your records stay accurate without manual intervention.
Availability: All customers.
