As governance data grows, so does the need to make information easier to navigate without compromising privacy. This month's release introduces new ways to customize entity experiences for different teams, reduce clutter across records and strengthen controls around sensitive personal information.

What’s New

Create Custom Pages

Admins can now create custom entity pages that group system and custom fields into tailored views for specific teams and workflows. Pages can be configured with role-based visibility, ensuring users only see the information relevant to their responsibilities.

Whether organizing data for tax, fund administration, legal or other governance workflows, custom pages make it easier for teams to work from a structured view of the information they use most.

Key enhancements include:

  • Create dedicated pages for specific business functions and workflows
  • Group related system and custom fields in a single location
  • Control page visibility by role to ensure users only see relevant information
  • Reduce clutter and simplify navigation across complex entity records

Protect Personal Address Information

You can now designate People Addresses as Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Once marked, addresses are automatically obfuscated throughout Athennian for users who do not have PII access permissions.

This enhancement helps your business maintain complete records while strengthening privacy controls and ensuring sensitive personal information is only visible to authorized users.

Key enhancements include:

  • Protect sensitive personal address information across the platform
  • Automatically obfuscate designated addresses for unauthorized users
  • Maintain complete records without compromising privacy requirements
  • Extend existing PII controls to additional personal data

Customize Entity Overview at System-Level

Entity Overview can now be tailored to fit your organization's workflows. Administrators can define which fields, sections and principal role types appear by default, creating a more focused experience for users across legal, tax, finance and compliance teams.

This helps organizations create a consistent experience across teams while reducing noise within entity records. Users can focus on the information most relevant to their responsibilities, improving efficiency and making entity data easier to navigate.

Surface Entity Legal Status in Entity Lists

Athennian has updated status labeling across the platform to make it easier to distinguish between an entity’s system status (called “File status”) and legal status (called “Entity status”). Existing entity legal statuses can now be surfaced directly in entity list views, allowing users to display and filter by the terminology already used within their organization.

This update helps teams quickly identify the status most relevant to their workflow without changing underlying data or processes. By making legal status more visible in list views and filters, users can review, manage and report on entities more efficiently using familiar business terminology.

*The “Edit Columns” functionality on the All Entities page is restricted to customers on the Professional and Enterprise plans.

Reporting Update: Affiliation Fields Alignment

We’ve streamlined the naming conventions in Reports to match the labels you see on the Affiliations screen.

What Changed?

To ensure consistency across the platform, we have updated the report filter and column names to directly align with the Affiliation settings:

Affiliation Screen Label Old Report Label New Report Label
Role Type Role
Title Role Title
Custom Title Title Custom Title

Will this break my saved reports?

No action required! This update will not break any of your existing saved reports or filters. Any saved configurations using these fields have automatically transitioned to the new naming conventions, ensuring your data and criteria remain perfectly intact.

Availability: All customers.

Document Automation Enhancements

Automated Municipal Addresses in the Property Register

We've updated the standard Property Register template to automatically generate and populate municipal addresses.

To ensure correct output, add the address affiliation from an Entity profile to the Property/Land Registration as the Operating Address. Learn How :point_left::skin-tone-3:
