Accelerate e-filing pipelines and streamline authorization management by storing multiple Companies House credentials directly within Athennian.
Overview
Athennian lets administrators store multiple Companies House authentication accounts in platform settings. Setting default credentials at the entity level or selecting specific accounts during task submission ensures quick authentication and dynamic authorization when executing Companies House API filings.
Availability: Customers with the UK Companies House E-Filing feature enabled.
Add Companies House Credentials in Settings
Access the page to configure shared Companies House Presenter accounts for your organization,. Accounts can be assigned as defaults on entities and overriden at filing time.
- Navigate to the profile icon at the top right of the screen and select Settings
- Select the Companies House Filing tab under EFile
- Click the + New button at the top right
- In the Add Companies House Account modal, enter
- Enter the required credential details to create a new authentication combination:
- Description*
- Presenter ID*
- Presenter Authentication Code*
- Click Add to save the new credential profile
A table will display the different presenter accounts available for your organization.
Note: Accounts can be deleted by clicking the bin icon located on the right side.
Set Default Credentials at the Entity Level
- Open the target Entity profile
- Navigate to the General > Details tab
- Locate the Companies House Filing field under Details
- Select the preferred credential profile from the Companies House Filing dropdown options, to set the default account for future filings
Select Credentials During Task Submission
- Open the designated e-filing Task
- Click the File button
- In the E-File modal, locate the Companies House Filing Account credential selection field on the submission screen
- Choose the appropriate Companies House Filing Account credential profile
- Click File to transmit the submission to Companies House
