As more teams rely on entity information, they need ways to track structure changes, organize data around their workflows and control access to sensitive records.
This month’s release introduces change tracking for saved chart views, granular access controls for custom entity pages and a new drag-and-drop Page Builder.
Review Changes to Saved Structure Charts
Saved structure chart views will highlight relevant ownership and entity changes made since the view was last saved. Users can select Review Updates to see what has changed and choose which updates to apply.
This helps teams keep charts accurate as structures evolve, while retaining control over when to update a saved point-in-time view. Applied changes are captured in the audit trail.
Availability: Customers on the Enterprise plan or with the Enterprise Charts add-on*.

Secure Custom Entity Pages for Teams
Create dedicated entity pages for teams such as Tax, Banking and Finance, combining custom records and fields with granular role-based access controls.
Admins can control which pages, registration types, and individual data points each team can access. Teams can manage information specific to their function within a shared system of record, while sensitive records and fields remain restricted to authorized users.
Availability: Enterprise customers with the Scale Configurability add-on; Professional customers with both the Scale Configurability and Custom Access add-ons*.

Build Custom Pages with Drag-and-Drop Controls
Admins can build custom pages for entities and people using the new Page Builder. Combine system and custom fields into configurable sections, adjust layouts, and preview pages.
This gives teams more control over how information is organized and presented, making it easier to create pages around the needs of Tax, Finance, or Compliance.

Charts Enhancements
We’ve added powerful new options to customize how entity details, date fields, and saved chart history are displayed in Structure Charts:
Color-Code Charts by Entity Name & Custom Date Fields
Automatically apply custom colors and shapes across Structure Charts using Entity Name rules (such as "equals" or "contains" text) or any Custom Date field (using "before", "after", or "exact date" rules). These can be combined with other entity attributes for a clearer point-in-time visual representation of your structures.

Reorder Legend Items in Structure Charts
You can now drag and drop legend criteria items in Structure Charts to easily reorder them. Since item order determines which rules take visual precedence on chart nodes, reordering criteria ensures the exact shape, color, or style rule you want takes effect without needing to delete and recreate rules.

Display Last Saved Date
Saved chart views now display the last saved date directly in the Saved View entity tracker pop-up, giving teams immediate visibility into how recently a view was updated.

Add Historical Names to Entities
Easily track and document historical names for existing entities—even if they haven't undergone a formal name change workflow within Athennian.
- Flexible Historical Entries: Add previous names along with effective start and end date ranges.
- Smart Date Validations: End dates are restricted to today or earlier to maintain historical data integrity.
- Overlap Protection: Prevents global name changes if the new effective date conflicts with an existing historical date range.
- Seamless Transitions: Allows global name updates whenever the effective date starts after the previous name's end date.
