Athennian AI now supports the ability to extract and build out Securities data—such as Classes, Transactions, and Certificate details—directly from structured source documents like Central Securities Registers.

This feature helps teams rapidly initialize new entities with complete ownership records by surfacing and structuring ownership transactions from uploaded documents.
It’s ideal for:

How to Use It
Upload a Document
- Go to Initialize and click on Create Entity with AI
- Upload a structured central securities register that includes:
- Share issuances from treasury
- Share transfers between shareholders
- Balance adjustments
- Cancellations
- Certificate codes and dates
- Wait for AI to automatically detect and extract data from the document.
Review the Extracted Data

Review Entity details surfaced from the document:

Company name and address

Principal information (if applicable)

Confirm the details or edit them as needed.

Review Transactions:

Issuances: AI detects issuances from Treasury to Shareholders. For each:

Select or Create the correct shareholder.

Confirm the Issuance and Cancellation dates.
-
Review the number of Shares, Currency, and Certificate details.

Transfers: AI detects transfers between Shareholders and Balance Transfers. For each:

Review transaction details such as Dates, Parties, and affected Certificates.

Ensure transfer amounts and certificate codes match the CSR.

Balance Adjustments and Cancellations:
-
Check for any automatic cancellation of old certificates due to transfers.
-
Review new certificates issued for remaining shares.

For each extracted item, choose to:

Accept to include it in the new entity.
-
Modify to correct any details.
-
Decline if the information should not be added.

This process is used only for building new entities. It does not update existing ones.
Build the Entity

After verifying all share classes, transactions, and ownerships:

Select Create.

The system builds:

- Certificates

Holdings

Holding Address (if surfaced)

The uploaded document is saved automatically in the Minute Book under the entity.

Works only with new Entities: Does not modify or overwrite existing Securities data.

Requires Structured documents: Best performance with Registers showing initial Issuance and full Certificate details.

Custom Reports excluded: Data is not included in Custom Reporting unless directly accessible.
