Principal Registers are documents that summarize the Directors, Officers, Members, or Partners of an Entity. These documents are generated in seconds, and provide the options to download, sign, or add documents to the Virtual Minute Book.
When generating a Register, it is possible to look back in time, to see how the Principals were arranged historically. By adding an As-At Date, the document generated will only include securities issued as of the date selected, or if left blank, the data will default to current data.
- Navigate to the Principals section
- Click Generate at the top of the screen
- The Supporting Documents window will appear and show all available templates that can be generated
- Click on the As-At Date field to select a date for the generated document
Note: If the As-At Date field is left blank, the document will generate as of today's date. - Select the Registers templates to generate by clicking the checkbox on the left
- If the template is in Word, but PDF is preferred, select the checkbox Convert Word to PDF
- Click Merge to generate the document(s)
- A blue message will appear at the bottom left of the screen indicating Generating documents - You'll be notified when it's completed
- Once generated, a green pop-up will appear stating Documents successfully generated
- Navigate to the Documents section to view the newly generated Register
- Click on the document name to open and view the document in Athennian
- If the Document is in Word format, the open will appear in the top right to Open in Word Online where documents can be edited and saved immediately
- For additional options, select the document(s) by checking the box on the left-hand side, and then click on "# selected" dropdown at the top of the page. From here, it is possible to Convert to PDF, Move, Rename, Download, etc.
