This error will appear if a Certificate exists, but no Transaction exists to prove the issuance of that Certificate.

Many of the Data Integrity issues will only appear following a database migration.  However, this particular issue can also be created if an Admin Delete is completed for a Transaction, but the related Certificate is not also deleted.

Investigate the Error

Use the search bar to search for the Shareholder Name or Certificate Number.  Most likely the Transactions tab will be blank, or not show that Certificate.  However, the Certificate will still appear on the Certificates tab with a status of Unissued

Resolve the Error

To resolve this issue, the Certificate needs to be deleted.  If the Certificate is valid, then reissue a new transaction for the certificate to reenter the details into Securities.

  • Click the three dots to the right of the Transaction and select Delete

  • Then in the Delete Preview window that appears, confirm the details and click Delete
