This error will appear if a Securities Transaction does not have a corresponding Certificate issued in the Certificates tab.
Investigate the Error
This message refers to a Certificate number missing in the From or To field of the transaction.
The example below shows the transaction for the error message above, where no Certificate number (or N/A for Uncertifcated) appears under the From and To columns of the transaction.
Resolve the Error
As there is no way to create only a Certificate, without creating a Transaction, the easiest way to correct this error is to delete the offending transaction and then recreate any Transactions, as needed.
- Click the three dots to the right of the Transaction and select Delete
- Then in the Delete Preview window that appears, confirm the details and click Delete
