What’s New

Custom People Statuses

Admins can now create custom statuses within a person's profile on the Contact page. This enhancement allows you to reflect more specific individual states within your organization, going beyond standard status options.

You can now define statuses such as "Deactivated", "Outdated", "Missing", and more, providing greater flexibility to meet your organization's specific criteria for people status.

This month, we dedicated additional time to prioritizing and delivering high-impact customer-requested enhancements. Below is the first batch of improvements from our Customer Love initiative. Keep an eye out for more updates coming in our March release.

Structure Charts

Exclude Trustee and Representative Interests from Charts

If you have more than one holder on a certificate, you can control whether these holders should show up on structure charts. Not all holders have economic interest, and this gives teams the ability to clearly show true economic ownership across joint holding scenarios.

Control Chart Legend Editing with Lock Functionality

Admins can now lock the team chart legend in Structure Charts. This gives administrators greater control over legend definitions, preserving consistency and accuracy across your entity management data.

Entity Registration Number in Chart Export

When exporting a chart to XLSX, there is now an option to include the "Entity Registration number", right below “Entity Type”. Once selected, it is exported in the report.

Client Number in Entity Details

"Client Number" data appears in Charts when selected in the Entity Details modal as a Default field.

Registrations

Introducing a 'Default Name' Option for Registration Types

We've added a new "Default Name" checkbox to most registration types (excluding Foreign Qualification (FQ) and Extra-Provincial (EP)). This allows you to de-couple the registration name from the main entity name. Now, if you complete an admin-level entity name change, the corresponding registration name will remain unchanged, giving you greater flexibility.

Custom Registration Types for Enhanced Data

You can now create custom registration types for all of our baseline registration types (excluding FQ and EP). This feature allows you to capture more specific information for property and land licenses, for example, and surface the custom types directly within the registration table for easier access and management.

Minute Book

Customizable and Default Minute Book Views

Admins can now set and lock a custom, pre-defined folder and document sort order for all users in a Minute Book, ensuring consistent and streamlined organization across the platform.

Highlight Document in Minute Book Navigation

Quickly locate documents within large Minute Books as the selected document is now highlighted in the left navigation panel, improving visibility and ease of use.

Entity Overview

Customize which statuses are surfaced - for Directors, Officers and Signatories on Entity Overview

Users can now personalize the Entity Overview using the “Edit Display” option to display only the Directors, Officers, and Signatories relevant to them by statuses. Set your preferred status (e.g., Confirmed only) to make the Overview cleaner and more focused.

More Field Configuration Options

The "Unique ID Identifier" and “Unique ID Name” fields are now available to be surfaced and configured on the Entity Overview's “Edit Display” option, providing more essential entity data at a glance.

Additional Enhancements

Enforced Option and Warrant Plan Cap Logic

We've introduced stricter restriction and validation logic to prevent users from granting more options or warrants than authorized in a given plan. This ensures that your data always accurately adheres to the plan's outlined limits, preventing inaccuracies and maintaining compliance.

'Other' Meeting Type Now Visible in the Meetings Overview
