This month’s release brings a focused set of updates shaped directly by customer feedback, alongside enhancements to AI-powered workflows and platform configurability. Together, these improvements help teams manage governance data with greater precision, control and efficiency.
What’s New
Enhanced Platform Configurability
Aligning the Athennian platform with each customer’s operational structure is a key initiative for the first half of this year. This includes giving teams greater control over how entity pages, sections and fields appear across their environment.
With this update, admins with Growth and Scale Customization add-ons can hide pages, sections, fields and dropdown options across all entities. This allows organizations to surface only relevant information, creating a more tailored experience while reducing unnecessary fields across the workspace.
Availability: Customers with the Growth or Scale Customization add-ons.
New Minute Book Experience
Provides a cleaner, more modern workspace for navigating and managing minute books while maintaining the same core functionality teams rely on today. This includes a toggle to revert to the current interface.
Availability: All customers*.
Release Schedule: *If you don't see this update in your environment yet, it will be available soon. Please contact your CSM if you have any questions.
Updated AI Centralize Permissions
Additional Centralize settings are now available to admins in the AI Settings page. From here, admins can configure two controls that apply across the Centralize workflow:
- Document Visibility: Define whether users can see all documents in Centralize or only the ones they uploaded. This setting applies at the intake stage, before documents are matched and filed to entities.
- Document After Filing: Define what happens once a document is filed to a Minute Book. Admins can choose to retain the document in Centralize, automatically delete it, or allow users to decide at the time of filing.
These settings apply automatically as users upload, review and file documents—ensuring visibility and retention behaviour are consistent with internal permissions and data policies.
Availability: Customers with Athennian AI: Centralize and Initialize.
Add Registrations with AI
Athennian AI: Centralize now supports creating registrations such as trademarks, licenses and foreign qualifications directly within the Registrations section of an entity.
Upload a registration document, like a trademark or business license, and Athennian AI will identify and extract the relevant details, allowing teams to review and confirm details before generating the record. The uploaded document is automatically stored in the entity’s minute book, ensuring the supporting documentation remains linked.
Availability: Customers with Athennian AI: Centralize and Initialize.
API Write: Cancellations and Transfers
The Athennian API now supports writing cancellation and transfer transactions directly into entity ownership records.
This expands API coverage across securities transactions, allowing organizations to maintain accurate ownership data and automatically reflect those changes across structure charts and reporting.
Availability: Customers with Athennian API Growth or Scale.
Increased Performance Speed
Experience a significant performance boost! Customers will see an increase in Athennian's system performance and speed when searching, loading, and reporting on data in key areas, including 4-5X in document generation, 10X in entity search and 20X in securities.
Availability: All customers.
