Customize the placement of a Structure Chart Legend upon export. You may often need legends placed in various areas or on a separate page, depending on internal preferences or the size of the chart. This feature will help you achieve cleaner exports for sharing.
Customize Your Legend Placement
You can move the Legend anywhere on the chart canvas before exporting. Simply click and drag the Legend to your preferred location.
Enhanced Export Legend Options
When you're ready to export your Structure Chart, you'll find options to customize the Legend's inclusion and placement.
- Click on the Export dropdown button on the top right of the screen and choose the relevant Export option (PDF, PPTX, SVG and PNG)
- Note: Custom legend placement is not available for Excel exports
- Include or Exclude Legend: You can now choose whether to include the Legend in your export.
- Check the Include Legend box to include it in the export.
- Uncheck the Include Legend box to exclude it from export.
- Legend Location on Export: If you choose to include the Legend, you have several placement options:
- Current Location: The Legend will export exactly where you've placed it on the chart canvas.
- Preset Locations: Choose from common placements like Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, or Bottom Right.
- Export Legend as a Separate File: For teams that prefer a completely separate file for the Legend, you can now export it on its own page. This is ideal when your chart is on one page and you want the Legend on another.
