Overview

This feature provides the flexibility to map out ownership scenarios and view month-to-month or day-to-day changes in your corporate structure. By setting an As At Date, the Structure Chart will automatically display only the entities and relationships that were active on that specific day, based on the File Status, Entity Status and Effective Date set within each Entity record.

Availability: All customers.

Set an Entity's Status and Effective Date

For the As At Date filter to accurately reflect historical data, it is crucial to properly record when an Entity's status changed. Follow these steps to set an Entity's status and its corresponding effective date.

  1. Navigate to the desired Entity
  2. Make sure that the File Status is set to Closed from the main status dropdown on the right side of the entity name, if the entity is no longer active
  3. Go to General > Details and navigate to the Characterization card:
    • Update the Entity Status to the appropriate designation (Inactive, Dissolved, Discontinued or Not Indicated)
    • Set the Effective Date field to the date this status change took effect
