Enhance the clarity and precision of your ownership Structure Charts by customizing the level of detail displayed. Tailor your charts for any purpose, from internal analysis to complex KYC and IRS submissions, by controlling exactly what information is visible.
Overview
This article provides a step-by-step guide to using the Ownership Details panel to customize the information displayed in a Structure Chart. The Ownership Details panel allows for the configuration of ownership totals, capital class specifics, loan information, and the precision of percentage decimals.

Access the Ownership Details Panel
To begin customizing the chart, first open the Ownership Details panel.
- Navigate to the desired entity's profile page
- Go to the Structure Charts section
- Click the Ownership Details icon in the left navigation panel to expand the customization options (located below the Legend and Entity Information icons)
Toggle Ownership Totals
For a simplified view, choose to hide the ownership percentage totals between entities.
- In the Ownership Details panel, locate the Totals toggle
- Click the toggle to turn the totals on or off
- When toggled off, only the connection lines between parent and subsidiary entities will be visible, without the corresponding ownership percentages
Display Capital Class Details
For entities with complex ownership structures involving multiple capital types or currencies, display detailed information for each class.
Important: When the system cannot calculate a total ownership percentage due to multiple capital types (e.g., Units and Cash) or different currencies, the chart will display a Multiple capital types or Multiple currencies indicator.
To view the specific details for each class:
- In the Ownership Details panel, click the toggle to turn on Capital classes
- To customize the level of detail, click the checkboxes for the following information:
- Total Issued
- Class Percentage
- Shareholder rights
- Interest type
- When any of the options above are chosen, the chart will expand to display a detailed breakdown for each holder, including:
- The total amount issued (e.g., number of Shares, Units, or Cash value)
- The percentage of the total class that the issuance represents
- The voting rights associated with the class (e.g., Voting or Non-Voting)
- The interest type (e.g., Legal and beneficial owner)
Adjust Percentage Decimals
Control the precision of ownership percentages displayed on the chart to accommodate highly specific class issuances.
- In the Ownership Details panel, locate the Percentage decimals text field
- Enter the desired number of decimal places, from 0 to 12
- The ownership percentages on the chart will automatically update to reflect the selected precision
Display Loan Information
Incorporate loan data directly into the structure chart to visualize lending relationships between entities.
- Ensure that the Loans Visibility filter in the Filter panel is set to Show (defaults to Hide) and click Apply
- Navigate back to the Ownership Details panel and locate the Loans section. Click the checkboxes to customize the level of detail:
- Borrowed amount
- Interest rate
- Total amount
- The chart will display a box on the connection line between the lender and the borrower
