Maintain a clean and accurate corporate record by removing obsolete or incorrectly created Security Classes.
Overview
Deleting a Class permanently removes its record from the Entity. This action is irreversible and should only be performed when a Class is no longer required or was created in error.
Availability: All customers.
Note: Before deleting a Class, ensure that all Transactions, Holdings, and Certificates associated with that Class have been deleted first.
Remove the Class Record
Navigate to the Profile of the Entity where the Class needs deletion
Select the Securities tab from the left-hand navigation menu and click Classes
Click the specific Class to be removed from the list
Click the Bin Icon on the right-hand side of the screen
Review the confirmation warning appearing on the screen
Click the red Delete button to successfully and permanently remove the class
