Learn how to delete a Class in Athennian. Deleting a Class permanently removes its record from the Entity.

Overview

The process of deleting a Class requires careful attention to ensure all associated Transactions, Holdings, and Certificates are removed first. This maintains data integrity within the Securities section.

  • Note: Before deleting a Class, ensure that all Transactions, Holdings, and Certificates have been deleted.

Delete a Class

  1. Navigate to the Entity where the Class needs deletion

  2. Go to the Securities > Classes section

  3. From the list of Classes displayed, scroll to the Class to delete

  4. Click the bin icon on the right-hand side of the screen

  5. A new warning will pop up on the screen to confirm this action. Click Delete

The Class will be deleted successfully.
