First, let's start with creating an Affiliation from the Interests tab!
Once in the entity where the principal is to be added, navigate to Relationships > Interests. Click on the blue New button and select Principal.
1. Participant
Add NOTES here if needed.
2. Entity
Click the + Entity button to select an existing entity by using the search bar and click the entity to select it.
If the profile has not yet been made for this entity, click the New button at the bottom left-hand corner of the box. When creating a new entity profile, a NAME is required. Enter all other relevant details and click the blue Create button.
3. Addresses
To add an address, click the blue + Address button.
If there is already an address associated with the profile, select an existing address or add a new address type by clicking + New at the bottom right-hand corner of the box.
4. Roles
Add their PRINCIPAL ROLE by clicking the drop-down menu and selecting the title most relevant to them. If they have multiple roles, click the blue + Role button.
Adding the EFFECTIVE and END dates is optional. To do this, select the date on the pop-up calendar. If entered manually, please ensure that the date is in this format:
YYYY-MM-DD
If the principal is still with the organization, the END date can be left blank.
5. Review
And finally, this tab is to review that all relevant information has been entered accurately.
Once everything is confirmed accurate, click the blue Save button at the bottom right-hand corner of the box.
And now moving to the Associations tab!
1. Participant

Multiple entities may be added by clicking the + Entity button again and repeating the previous steps.
3. Addresses
To add an address, click the blue + Address button.

4. Roles
Add the ROLE and TITLE by clicking the drop-down menu and selecting the ones most relevant to them.
