Creating Relationships from the Affiliations and Associations Tabs

First, let's start with creating an Affiliation from the Relationships tab!

Once in the entity where the principal is to be added, navigate to Relationships > Affiliations. Click on the blue New button and select Principal, Agent, Responsible, Contact, or Other Professional. In this example, we will choose Principal. 

 

 

1. Details

Once selected, a box will pop up to enter the Principal's details. In the dropdown Select the PROFILE TYPE to choose an Entity or Person.  

Add NOTES if needed.

Click on + Add Profile to select the Entity or Person as the Principal. 

Once you select the Person or Entity, you can scroll down to Addresses. 

 

2. Addresses

To add an address, click the blue + Address button.

If there is already an address associated with the profile, select an existing address or add a new address type by clicking + New at the bottom right-hand corner of the box.

Select the applicable Address and click on Apply. 

 

3. Roles

Click on + Add role to add their Principal Role. 

A pop-up will appear where you can add their PRINCIPAL ROLE by clicking the drop-down menu and selecting the title most relevant to them. 

Add the EFFECTIVE and END DATES by selecting the date on the pop-up calendar. If entered manually, please ensure that the date is in this format:

YYYY-MM-DD

If the principal is still with the organization, the END DATE can be left blank.

Once you enter the role, click on the blue Add button

 

If a principal has more than one role, please click on + Add Role again to select a new role.

 

 

4. Documents

Add any relevant documents if applicable by clicking + Add Documents.

Once you select + Add Documents, a pop-up will appear where you can select documents to link to Affiliation. 

Once everything is confirmed accurate, click the blue Create button at the bottom right-hand corner of the box.

 

And now moving to the Associations tab!

Once in the entity where the principal is to be added, navigate to Relationships > Associations. Click on the blue + New button and select Principal, Agent, Responsible, Contact, or Other Professional. In this example, we will choose Agent. 

 

 

1. Details

Once selected, a box will pop up to enter the Principal's details. In the dropdown Select the PROFILE TYPE to choose an Entity or Person.  

Add NOTES if needed.

 

2. Entity

Click the + Entity button to select an existing entity by using the search bar and click the entity to select it.

If the profile has not yet been made for this entity, click the New button at the bottom left-hand corner of the box. When creating a new entity profile, a NAME is required. Enter all other relevant details and click the blue Create button.

Multiple entities may be added by clicking the + Entity button again and repeating the previous steps.

3. Addresses

To add an address, click the blue + Add Address button.

Multiple addresses may be added by clicking the + Add Address button again and repeating the previous steps.

4. Roles

Add the ROLE and TITLE by clicking the drop-down menu and selecting the ones most relevant to them.

Adding the EFFECTIVE and END dates is optional. To do this, select the date on the pop-up calendar. If entered manually, please ensure that the date is in this format:

YYYY-MM-DD

The END date can be left blank.

 

5. Registrations

Add Registrations by selecting + Add registration

Select the relevant Registration 

6. Documents 

Add documents by selecting + Add Documents

Select documents to link to Affiliation.

Once everything is confirmed accurate, click the blue Create button at the bottom right-hand corner of the box.
