Enhance entity management by controlling how pending transactions impact ownership calculations and structure charts across Athennian.
Overview
Athennian enables teams to choose how ownership is calculated and displayed. By default, Athennian includes both Confirmed and Pending issuances in ownership calculations. For organizations following strict accounting or legal standards, Admins can configure settings to include only Confirmed transactions in overall ownership figures and Structure Charts, while keeping Pending transactions visible for tracking.
Additionally, the Security > Ownership section in an entity features a banner displaying the current Issued amount, Reserved amount, and total Available issuance limits per share class.
Availability: All customers with Administrator Access.
Configure Ownership View Preferences
Admins can set whether Pending transactions influence ownership calculations and structure charts across the organization.
- Click the Profile icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen and select Settings
- Click View Preferences on the left-hand side of the screen
- Locate the Ownership setting and check or uncheck the box to control whether Pending transactions affect Ownership calculations and Structure Charts
Note: When the toggle is activated to exclude pending transactions, Pending issuances remain visible in transaction lists but do not impact calculated ownership percentages or total share counts in Structure Charts.
Track Share Class Issuance Totals
The Ownership section provides high-level visibility into share class limits and issuance states.
Navigate to Entities located on the left-hand side of the screen and select a specific entity
Click Securities on the left-hand side of the screen and select Ownership from the left navigation menu
Review the summary banner at the top of the page:
Issued: Displays total confirmed (and pending, if enabled) shares issued
Pending: Shows pending shares
Reserved: Shows specific share counts allocated or set aside per class
Available: Displays remaining authorized capacity based on whether the class limit is capped or set to unlimited
