Enhance the Entity Overview by customizing the display to show only active, inactive, pending, or all ownership holdings.
Overview
This article details how to use the Edit Display settings to control the visibility of Ownership Classes and Holdings on the Entity Overview page. This provides flexibility for different users, such as finance or legal teams, who may only need to see the currently active ownership state, versus compliance users who may need to see the full history.
Availability: Customers on the Professional and Enterprise plans.
Customize the Ownership Display
Use the Edit Display modal to control which components appear on the Overview page.
- Navigate to the specific Entity record
- Select the Overview tab
- Click Edit Display in the top right corner
- In the Edit Display modal, locate the List ownership option
- Select the box to show Ownership on the Overview or uncheck it to hide the entire section
- By default, only Classes and Holdings with Confirmed status are displayed in the Overview
- Click Apply to save the changes
Display Classes and Holdings by Status
Further refine the Overview Ownership details by filtering the Classes and Holdings based on their status.
- Navigate to the Entity Overview and click Edit Display
- Ensure List ownership is selected
- Under the List classes dropdown, select the statuses to display:
- All statuses: Shows all classes, including confirmed, pending and inactive
- Confirmed
- Inactive
- Pending
- Or uncheck List classes (Hides Classes but can still show Holdings)
- Under the List holdings dropdown, select the statuses to display:
- All statuses: Shows all holdings, including active and inactive
- Confirmed: Shows only active holdings and filters out inactive holdings
- Inactive
- Or uncheck List holdings (Hides Holdings but can still show Classes)
- Click Apply
- The Overview page will refresh to show only the ownership information that matches the selected criteria
