Company Groups help you organize and categorize entities for streamlined reporting and easy reference. Assigning a Company Group to an entity allows you to identify which entities belong to specific organizational structures or reporting sets.
Overview
Company Groups are used to categorize and organize Entities. Company Groups are managed from within an Entity's General tab, where new Groups can be created, edited and deleted.
Add a Company Group
- Navigate to the desired Entity
- Go to the General tab
- In the Details section, locate the Company Group field
- Click the manage company groups button next to the Company Group field
- In the Edit Company Groups modal, select the name field of the + Add Option button to add a new group
- Scroll to the bottom of the modal and fill the empty field with the new Company Group name

Click the save button at the bottom right corner once the name has been chosen
Manage Existing Company Groups (Edit)
- Navigate to the General tab of the desired Entity
- In the Details section, click the manage company groups button next to the Company Group field
- In the Edit Company Groups modal, select the name field of the Group to you wish to edit

Click the save button at the bottom right corner once the name has been changed
Manage Existing Company Groups (Delete)
- Navigate to the General tab of the desired Entity
- In the Details section, click the manage company groups button
- In the Edit Company Groups modal, hover to the name field of the Group to delete
- To delete a Group, click the Delete button (recycle bin icon) next to the Group's name

Click the save button at the bottom right corner
Note: Deleting a Company Group is a permanent action that cannot be undone
