Deleting a Share Class

Deleting a share class is as easy as following the steps listed below:

1. Navigate to the entity where the share class needs to be deleted;  

2. Go to the Governance > Share Classes section;

3. From the list of share classes displayed, select the share class that needs to be deleted 

4. In the Share class details pop up, click on Administrative Edit on the bottom left corner 

5. Then click on the drop down arrow on the top right corner and change the share class status to Inactive;

6. Enter in the Removal Date and click on Save;

7.  Once this is done, click on Cancel to go back to the Share Class list and then hover around the inactive share class and click on the Delete  button;

8. A new warning would pop on the screen to confirm this action. Click on Confirm and the share class will be deleted successfully.
