Managing entity portfolios means keeping data, timelines, and team permissions constantly aligned. This month’s release introduces better visibility and more flexible controls to support that work, headlined by a redesigned task workspace, expanded audit logging and more precise role permissions.

What’s New

New Task Experience

Tasks now operate in a redesigned workspace with dedicated page views, saved filters and cleaner navigation across table and calendar views. Teams can manage tasks, filings and supporting documents in a more connected workflow, making high-volume governance work easier to track and complete.

Key enhancements include:

  • Task filters now align with the rest of the Athennian platform for a more consistent experience
  • Tasks now open as dedicated pages instead of pop-out modals, making it easier to navigate and manage complex task details
  • Improved table layouts make better use of screen space for cleaner visibility across task lists and deadlines

Track Minute Book Actions in Entity Audit Trail and Global Audit Trail

The Entity-level Audit Trail and the Global Audit Trail now include important Minute Book activity, such as document uploads and downloads, cover page actions, and folder sharing events. This gives administrators a more complete view of governance-related record changes and document activity, helping teams monitor, investigate, and export auditable actions from a single centralized location.

Availability: All customers* (except for the Global Audit Trail, which is an Enterprise feature).

Keep Teams Aligned with New Dashboard Banner

Admins can now pin customizable announcements, resources, and external links directly to the top of the Athennian Dashboard. This new banner helps streamline onboarding and change management by surfacing critical internal workflows, documentation, and company updates right where your team works. You can fully customize the banner's title, colours, and hyperlinks to match your organization's specific communication needs.

Document Automation Enhancements

Standard Summary Templates Now Reflect Custom Entity Subtype

We have updated our standard Corporate Summary and Entity Summary templates to incorporate the new "Custom Entity Subtype" field (if configured). This ensures that these generated documents always display the most accurate, up-to-date entity data within the Company/Corporate Type sections.

Action Required for Custom Templates: If your team manages custom templates that include the entity type field within the content, please check our standard template library to reference the updated code syntax for this enhancement.
