Integrating a custom cover page ensures a polished and professional presentation for client deliverables. This feature lets administrative users upload firm-branded layouts directly into the document stack and configure automated inclusion for all compiled PDF exports.

Overview

The custom cover page functionality permits the placement of a primary PDF or Word document at the beginning of the digital record repository. Once uploaded, the page dynamically integrates with download settings to streamline document packaging.

Availability: Customers with the Enterprise plan; limited to Administrators only.

Upload a Cover Page

  1. Navigate to the desired entity and select the Minute Book section

  2. Click the + New button located in the top middle of the screen

  3. Select Add Cover from the dropdown options

  4. Configure the Effective date within the upload modal

  5. Click Upload from device to select a PDF or Word document from the local computer folder

  6. Choose whether to restrict access or enable access for Athennian Intelligence, if applicable

  7. Click Submit to process the file upload and view it listed as the first record to the left of the table of contents

You should now see your document uploaded as a cover page, and listed as the first document in your document list to the left of the table of contents.

Download the Minute Book and Include or Exclude the Cover Page

  1. Click the Export button within the Minute Book workspace

  2. Select Export as PDF from the dropdown menu

  3. Review the configurations inside the Download Settings modal, which automatically enables Include cover page and View with Adobe by default

  4. Click Download PDF in the bottom right corner to initiate processing

  5. Observe the green success notification on the bottom left of the screen confirming completion of the compiled download

Note: To exclude the cover page, follow the above steps and unselect the Include cover page option.

Manage the Cover Page

  1. Navigate to the top of the left document list to locate the custom cover page

  2. Click the three action dots located to the right of the custom cover page title

  3. Select Download, Replace, or Delete from the dropdown menu depending on the required administrative workflow

  4. Follow the remaining system prompts to complete the action

Additional Important Notes / Tips

Note:

  • Ensure the cover page file is named correctly before uploading a new file or completing a replacement workflow.

  • Add custom cover pages to each Minute Book separately.

  • Deselecting the Include cover page option within the Download Settings modal removes the cover page from subsequent compiled PDF exports.
