Structure Charts: Improved Ownership Accuracy, Details and Views
We’ve enhanced how ownership is displayed in Structure Charts to give you a more precise and complete view of complex structures. You can view totals, capital class breakdowns and loan information all in one place so you won’t run the risk of overstating ownership or missing details.
Here’s what’s new:
- Clearer ownership breakdowns: Break down parent to subsidiary ownership into detailed class views that specify units issued, cash allotted or percentages owned along with voting rights and individual class totals.
- Support for multiple capital types & currencies: Entities with different instruments (shares, cash, % units) or currencies are displayed accurately, without rounding errors or forced roll-ups.
- Precision you can trust: Percentages can now be toggled up to 12 decimal places for greater accuracy in complex share class issuances.
- Loan transparency: Display loan amounts and interest rates directly in charts for a complete picture of ownership and financing.
These improvements give fund management and complex businesses a more reliable, audit-ready view of ownership to support compliance, reporting and transaction modeling.

AI in Sections: Principals
We’re expanding Athennian AI into more parts of the platform, starting with the Principals section. You can now upload a document directly in Principals and run AI workflows to add or update directors, officers and other people records. Athennian’s AI processes the file and suggests updates in real time, eliminating the need to switch to the AI page or manually edit records.
For private equity firms, law firms and corporate groups managing frequent changes across large portfolios, this means smoother workflows and more reliable governance records.
