Ownership Report Exports
Generate and export ownership reports in XLSX format, including shares, voting rights, incorporation details, and more, to meet information requests and filing requirements in seconds.
This new reporting feature exports directly from your structure charts (new dynamic charts only) to produce a report with selectable fields, including Parent Entity, Country of Incorporation, Total Share Capital, Ownership %, Tax ID, and many more, to streamline critical compliance and stakeholder reporting.
You can now meet ownership reporting demands with greater accuracy and minimal preparation, such as:
- Quarterly regional ownership charts (US, Canada, EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
- Treasury entity lists
- Tax and audit ownership structures

Scheduled Reports
Take reporting off your to-do list. You can now automate delivery of custom reports through scheduled email distribution, with configurable frequency, recipient lists and content parameters. This ensures stakeholders receive timely and consistent updates without manual coordination.
Some examples include:
- Weekly task summaries to legal and tax teams
- Monthly entity status reports to clients, partners or LPs
- Quarterly compliance updates to audit teams

Custom Roles: Self-Service and Enhancements
Admins can now create and manage custom user roles through a self-service interface with granular permission controls. Role-based access can now be applied to over 60 folders, sections and pages, allowing teams to remove irrelevant data from view while maintaining a single source of truth.
This enhancement ensures each user sees only what’s relevant for their role*:
- Legal teams focus on compliance and regulatory detail
- Operations staff manage administrative workflows
- Executives view high-level summaries of entities and ownership structures
- Document and minute book access can be restricted as needed
Everyone works from the same accurate entity data, avoiding overload and missed details.
Important: *Please note that data hidden by custom roles is still accessible via reports and generated.

Track Access Changes in the Global Audit Trail
Athennian’s Global Audit Trail now extends to capture all User Access changes alongside Entity and People record modifications. This unified view provides complete visibility into who changed what and when across your environment, whether for audit preparation, security monitoring, or compliance reviews.
Track confidential deal data access, monitor user additions and removals and see the full history of changes without piecing together scattered logs. Audit preparation becomes a simple report instead of a manual investigation.
Availability: Customers on the Enterprise plan (accessible by Administrators).
Additional Updates
Set Email Language Preferences
Users and Admins now have the ability to set their preferred language (English or French), as receivers, for all email correspondence from Athennian.
Important: In this launch, only Welcome email templates will display in French when the setting is applied. We will soon have the settings apply to every single email that gets sent.

Power Automate: Additional Entity and People API Fields
Every data point that can be edited manually on an existing entity via the API can now also be created in an entity using our Power Automate connector.
Availability: Beta feature. Reach out to your CSM if you are interested.
Enhanced Address Display on Entity Overview
Users can now customize the "Edit Display" on an entity's Overview to include all Profile and Shared Address types. This enhancement allows for a more comprehensive and team-relevant view of addresses at a glance.
