Learn how easily Athennian stores aliases for individuals!
The aliases tool allows you to save alternative names to a person record that can be used when adding a person to a company. The alias will link back to their main person profile, and the alias will be used in all document automation. This allows you to have one person who can be called different names for different contexts.
To create an alias, follow the simple steps below:
- Navigate to the People section on the left-hand side of the page
- Select a person record
- In the Contact tab under Details, scroll down to the Aliases field
- Click on the + button and the Add Alias modal will pop up
- Fill in the mandatory First Name and Last Name fields, with an optional Middle Name field
- Once satisfied, click on the blue Add button to save the new alias
- Click on the bin icon to delete an alias
Once you have created an alias, it will be available to use as the Execution Name when adding a person as a Principal into an entity record.
